Lyrics

In dream suspended sanity projected in my mind
I looked and saw in front of me another of my kind
And I saw her stand alone, so familiar and unknown
So timeless, yet so real

My ears were ringing like a bell, my knees were feeling weak
She smiled as if she knew me well and beckoned me to speak
& she answered what I knew when I asked her, "Who are you?"
With words I can't explain

She said "I am yourself
I am just one you've been searching for"
"I am yourself with another skin"
She said "I am just one you've been waiting for"

My blissful ignorance was shattered with those words
And I started down an unfamiliar road
My body slept and still my memory clearly heard
The things she said to me
The seed she sowed

I woke and looked around my room and all things looked the same
But I can't seem to leave behind the words I can't explain
When I'm greeting someone new, and they ask me, "Who are you?"
It echos through my brain

"I am yourself
I am just one you've been searching for"
"I am yourself with another skin"
"I am just one you've been waiting for"
